Happy Thursday everyone, I hope you are still as excited as I am about FIFA losing its Blatter! Let's carry on the third day of excitement with some Lion Links!

OCSC Loanee Sidney Rivera on Local TV in Louisville

Yesterday, Orlando City loanee Sidney Rivera was featured on CN2 in Kentucky for a soccer segment. Rivera was the fourth round pick by Orlando in the MLS SuperDraft and has spent this season on loan to USL affiliate Louisville City FC. As you can see from the video, Americans still have a lot to learn about the glorious sport of soccer, but hopefully some of the Kentuckians that refuse to acknowledge the sport now have a basic understanding thanks to Professor Rivera.

Orlando City’s Next Opponent Chicago Fire Falls to D.C. United

As the Lions get ready to face off with the Fire in The Windy City, Chicago will be licking their wounds after an embarrassing 3-1 loss to D.C. United. Goals were scored for D.C. by Jairo Arrieta, a former Orlando City expansion draft pick, and Conor Doyle. Chicago striker David Accam added one for the Fire.

Orlando will look to grab three points this weekend as they travel to face a depleted Fire who will only have three days to rest.

Andrea Pirlo Reported to be Joining NYCFC

Juventus and Italian National Team legend Andrea Pirlo has been reported to have agreed to a deal with NYCFC and could be joining them in the summer transfer period. It will be interesting to see how they make this happen. NYCFC currently sits at the bottom of the table, and if Pirlo joins, he will hopefully provide a much-needed boost, along with the summer arrival of Frank Lampard.

Chuck Blazer Transcripts Revealed

I know what you're thinking: Will the FIFA news ever end? Well, yes, it will eventually, but this is actually quite interesting and may be a huge part in why FIFA President Sepp Blatter resigned on Tuesday. Former Executive Chuck Blazer is well known for turning on former ally Blatter in 2013 when the US courts questioned him. While parts of his statements are redacted, we can only begin to imagine the juicy details Mr. Blazer had on FIFA and its widespread corruption.

Expect more to come from the US Department of Justice and the FBI. as this is only the beginning of massive changes for FIFA and its leadership.

Honduras Upset by Fiji at U-20 World Cup

Orlando City striker Bryan Rochez might be back sooner than we thought. Honduras suffered a shocking 3-0 loss to Fiji last night, giving that country its first ever win at a FIFA tournament. Los Catrachos still have it all to do in Group F, with a match against Germany remaining. Honduras is 1-1-0 and level on points with Fiji, but holds a slight edge in goal differential. However, if Fiji gets a result against 0-2 Uzbekistan and Germany defeats Honduras, Rochez and his mates will be coming home early.
