It’s Wednesday, y’all and man yesterday was busy. Aside from the USWNT and Orlando City getting wins on the pitch, the Lions announced some rather large news and made headlines about possibly adding a star forward during the transfer window.

But first, congratulations to Rafael Ramos who proposed after the match last night and the bride-to-be said yes. A win and an engagement in the same day? You take the good with the bad I guess. Kidding. Marriage is exciting.

Let's recap last night's win!

Massive Report's view of the match (Sidney Rivas? Come on, man!)
Orlando City ending affiliation with Louisville FC

Orlando City is going to end its affiliation with USL team Louisville FC and plans to make an affiliate MLS 2-type team in or near the city, The Mane Land first reported yesterday. And really, this is all you need to know, but it would make me feel bad if you stopped reading. So please continue.

Anthony Pulis will be the coach for Orlando City’s new USL affiliate club. Pulis was one of a handful of quality candidates. If you guys have an opinion on the decision or think there would be a better fit drop in a comment below.

Chicharito to Orlando City?

Orlando City is reportedly in talks to sign Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez, according to local sportscaster David Pingalore. So, I think we all know this ends — with Chicharito staying in Europe. What a shame. It would be the biggest signing in league history.

USWNT Beats Germany, Advances to Final

In what some members of the media considered an upset, the U.S. defeated Germany 2-0 to advance to the 2015 FIFA World Cup final. The finals are the day after Independence Day, and what would be better than beating Japan the day after Independence Day? Well, beating them on Independence Day would be pretty great. Because Merica.

Earthquakes vs. Manchester United Moved

Louis van Gaal had concerns over his Manchester United squad traveling too much and chose to move a preseason friendly against the San Jose Earthquakes to a smaller venue. More than 60,000 fans who reserved tickets will be refunded. It's just a swim across the pond. Not sure why he wouldn't just let them play.

Jorsling done for Soca Warriors?

If you ask former Orlando City Lion Devorn Jorsling, he’s done playing for the Trinidad national squad. The team’s all-time leading scorer was kept off the roster for the Gold Cup which likely signals that his time has passed. However, it might say something about Jorsling (or Trinidad and Tobago) that the all-time leader in goals never scored in a World Cup or a Gold Cup.

Dos Santos to Galaxy?

The LA Galaxy are reportedly in talks to bring Giovani Dos Santos in during the transfer window.Assuming the Chicharito signing doesn’t work out, this could be the biggest signing of the window and would bring some added star power to a team that could use some more. Not enough stars in the Galaxy. *Cue the cymbals.*

That's it for today, folks. Bask in the glow of yesterday's wins. The Lions and the USWNT are back in action this weekend!
