Brek and Avi Show Airing Today
The much anticipated debut of the Brek and Avi Show is today; the players will give an inside look at the personalities of the team in a way fans are sure to enjoy. Eric Avila has history with shows like this, hosting one during his time with Chivas USA. The team is aiming to brighten up the lives of fans while the team is not in the best run of form and this seems sure to do the trick.
Sean St. Ledger Moves Forward At Colorado
After a rocky exit from Orlando City, Irish defender Sean St. Ledger is doing fairly well with the Colorado Rapids. In a piece in the Telegraph, St. Ledger opens up on his reuniting with fellow Irishman Kevin Doyle, playing alongside Kaká, as well as the rumors that he dated Taylor Swift which, sadly, were not true. Orlando could surely use a sound defender but St. Ledger is making steps forward with his career and we wish him the best of luck.
Beckham FC Stadium Announcement Getting Closer
We've heard this before, but the long awaited announcement of a stadium in Miami is getting closer, according to David Beckham. The team has already been guaranteed its spot in the league but has been fighting with local officials as to where the new stadium will be located. Beckham still has high hopes that the debate over location will be finished shortly and the team can achieve their goal of actually forming.
Brad Guzan Remains U.S. Number 1
Despite the return of Everton keeper and U.S. Secretary of Defense Tim Howard, Aston Villa shot-stopper Brad Guzan will remain between the sticks for at least the next three USMNT games. This announcement does not come as a surprise to many, as Howard spent a year away from international duty and Guzan has rather impressed in recent matches for the USMNT. While Howard may still regain his job, it is Guzan's spot to lose.
Matt Fondy Breaks USL Goal Record
Louisville City FC forward Matt Fondy netted a hat trick Wednesday night against the Harrisburg City Islanders, which lifted his season goal total to 21, topping Orlando City midfielder Kevin Molino's 2014 USL record setting goal total of 20. Molino had previously set the record on Aug. 23, 2014 against the Richmond Kickers breaking the record of former Orlando City forward Dom Dwyer. Fondy's mark makes it the first time the record hasn't been held by an Orlando City player since June 7, 2013.
That's it for today everyone, have a great day and be sure to check out our PawedCast dropping this afternoon!
