Trinidad Newsday is reporting that Trinidad and Tobago international Keron Cummings has joined Orlando City on trial.

The 27-year-old midfielder made headlines in July when he scored twice in Trinidad and Tobago’s 4-4 draw with Mexico in the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup. He scored against El Tri again on Sept. 4 in an international friendly, as the Soca Warriors drew 3-3.

According to the paper, the Lions wanted Cummings to begin his trial immediately following the friendly but he decided to return home first.

Currently plying his trade with North East Stars of the T&T Pro League, Cummings has previously played for W Connection, Central FC, and St. Ann’s Rangers in the same league.
