It's a terrific Tuesday, Mane Landers. After going weeks without good news to smile about, Orlando City eventually got the monkey off their backs with the win over Sporting Kansas City on Sunday night. However, you are here, so you already know that. Here is everything else that you need to know heading into your Tuesday.

NWSL Heading to the City Beautiful?

It is being widely reported, including by us, that Orlando City and the National Women’s Soccer League are expected to announce a women’s soccer franchise will be headed to the City Beautiful in 2016. This comes as no surprise as the club has long discussed its want to bring a women’s team to Orlando and, after having both Sydney Leroux and Alex Morgan at Sunday’s game against Sporting Kansas City, it’s no surprise that the story is breaking now.

All in all, the time would seem to be right to bring a women’s team to Orlando. The club is riding high after selling out its 2016 season tickets, women’s soccer is riding the wave after the USWNT’s win at the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup, and the club will soon have its own stadium, a la Portland, to be able to host both men’s and women’s soccer. So let’s give the Orlando City front office a big round of applause, and let us know in the comments who you would like to see don Orlando City purple for the Orlando City Lionesses.

Cummings to Orlando?

On Friday, we noticed a new face at training and now we know who the trialist is. It was reported yesterday that Trinidad and Tobago midfielder Keron Cummings is now on trial with Orlando City. The player has had an excellent few months with T&T and the club has seemingly decided to take a chance on him, probably after speaking with fellow T&T international Kevin Molino. With the transfer window closed, and Cummings currently still tied to a club, don’t expect anything to happen in the short term, but stay tuned to The Mane Land to find out what happens.

If you want to hear more about the man himself, here is a good video for you:

Winter Has Come

After a bad start to his Orlando City career (which wasn’t really his fault), Adrian Winter eventually came good on Sunday by bagging two goals in Orlando City’s 3-1 win over Sporting KC, and apparently others noticed as well, as he bagged an MLS Team of the Week nod for his performance. Another player who also garnered praise was Cristian Higuita. After another tireless performance in the Orlando City engine room, he did enough to earn a bench spot in the Team of the Week.

Winter also garnered a team of the week nomination on Goal.com alongside the dependable Luke Boden, who didn’t seem to have his best performance on Saturday but apparently did enough in their eyes to be recognized.

Is Jürgen the Man for the Job?

With Oct. 10 getting ever closer and the USMNT having looked shaky in recent months, aol.com takes a look at whether or not Jürgen Klinsmann continues to be the right man to lead the U.S. team going forward. While I can't say I agree with his points completely, the article really highlights the difference between the two roles and does strengthen the argument that Klinsmann should potentially step aside from coaching and rather move more into helping soccer grow in the U.S. long-term while improving the USMNT in the short term.

That's it for today's Lion Links, Mane Landers. Stay tuned to us for all you need to know and everything you don't in between.
