Several Orlando City academy products attend college to further their development as they attempt to eventually become members of the first team. This week, many of those former academy players made appearances for schools around college soccer.

This past week, 17 Orlando City academy products made appearances for schools spanning several levels of college soccer. Here's a look at who those players are, where they're playing and what they've been up to.

Kyle Carr – Junior – D – Liberty University

Started Tuesday night in a 1-0 loss to East Tennessee State, playing 90 minutes.

Started Saturday in a 2-1 loss to Winthrop, tallying a goal with his only shot.

Kyndle Cobb – Sophomore – GK – Coker College

Started Friday night in a 2-0 win over Newberry, making two saves in 90 minutes.

Started Saturday night in a 2-1 loss to Catawba, making five saves in 90 minutes.

Johnny Nartowicz – Freshman – MF – Rollins College

Started Wednesday night in a 1-0 loss to Tampa, playing 40 minutes.

Started Saturday night in a 4-3 win over Florida Tech, playing 79 minutes.

Marcos Arroyo – Sophomore – MF – Army

Started Tuesday night in a 1-1 draw with Fairfield, playing 110 minutes.

Started Saturday in a 1-0 loss to Lafayette, tallying one shot in 86 minutes.

Noah Franke – Sophomore – MF – Creighton University

Played 39 minutes Tuesday night as a substitute in a 1-0 win over Tulsa, recording one shot.

Played 64 minutes Saturday as a substitute in a 4-2 win over Seton Hall.

Zach King – Sophomore – GK – Lenoir Rhyne University

Started in a 3-2 win Wednesday night over Catawba, playing 107 minutes.

Started in a 3-2 loss Saturday night to Lincoln Memorial, making four saves in 90 minutes.

Eli Lockaby – Freshman – MF – Virginia Commonwealth University

Played as a substitute in a 2-1 loss Friday night to UCLA.

Sean Reilly – Sophomore – D – Cedarville University

Started in a 4-2 win Wednesday night over Trevecca, playing 90 minutes.

Started in a 4-0 win Saturday night over Kentucky Wesleyan, playing 76 minutes.

Dennis Zapata – Freshman – MF – Florida Gulf Coast University

Started in a 2-1 win Friday night over Brown, recording two shots in 53 minutes.

Gorka Aperribay – Freshman – F – University of Central Florida

Played as a substitute in a 3-2 win Wednesday night over Jacksonville, playing 13 minutes.

Played as a substitute in a 2-2 draw with Memphis Saturday night, playing 18 minutes.

Nicholas O'Callahan – Freshman – D – Elon University

Started in a 3-1 loss to South Carolina Tuesday night, recording one shot in 90 minutes.

Started in a 1-0 win over Delaware Saturday night, playing 90 minutes.

Jaiden Fortune – Freshman – F – Elon University

Played as a substitute in a 3-1 loss to South Carolina Tuesday night, recording two shots in 50 minutes.

Played as a substitute in a 1-0 win over Delaware Saturday night, playing 47 minutes.

Charles Lynch – Freshman – MF – Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology

Played as a substitute in a 3-1 win Wednesday night over DePauw.

Played as a substitute in a 2-2 draw with Illinois Wesleyan.

Daniel O'Brien -Freshman – F – Stetson University

Played as substitute in a 2-1 win Wednesday night over Florida Atlantic, recording a goal and an assist with two shots in 49 minutes.

Alex Doyle – Freshman – MF – Barry University

Played as a substitute in a 2-2 draw Wednesday night with Lynn, playing 41 minutes.

Aaron Kleinert – Freshman – D – University of California, Riverside

Started in a 3-0 win over San Jose State Friday night, playing 90 minutes.

Michael O'Sullivan – Junior – D – Palm Beach Atlantic University

Started in a 4-2 win over Tampa Saturday night, playing 90 minutes.

Michael Melvin – Sophomore – MF – Clemson University

Started in a 1-1 draw with Wake Forest Saturday night, playing 24 minutes.

Player Spotlight

Name: Noah Franke

Date of Birth: March 25, 1995

School: Creighton University

Position: Midfielder

Year: Sophomore

Hometown: Orlando, FL

High School: Olympia High School

Prior to joining Orlando City's academy, Franke played for Tampa Bay United Premier U-17. He then played for Orlando City U-18 under Paul Shaw prior to attending Creighton. In 2012-13, he led the team in goals, assists, and starts as co-captain. In 2013-14, he started all 33 games for the U-18s, playing 90 minutes or more in 32 of those games. The last two summers, Franke has played for Orlando City U-23s in the Premier Development League.
