Each week, several Orlando City academy graduates appear for colleges all around the country. In this week’s Orlando City Academy College Roundup, we look at how those players did this past week.

This week, 20 Orlando City academy products made appearances spanning different levels of college soccer.

Cameron Hardington – Freshman – D – Amherst College

Played Tuesday in a 4-0 win over Connecticut College.

Alex Doyle – Freshman – MF – Barry University

Played 23 minutes Tuesday night in a 3-2 win over Flagler.

Sean Reilly – Sophomore – D – Cedarville University

Started and played 90 minutes Saturday in a 3-1 win over Trevecca.

Michael Melvin – Sophomore – MF – Clemson University

Played Saturday in a 1-0 win over Syracuse.

Kyndle Cobb – Sophomore – GK – Coker College

Started and played 90 minutes Saturday in a 5-0 loss to Lincoln Memorial, conceding five goals and making eight saves.

Noah Franke – Sophomore – MF – Creighton University

Started and played 90 minutes in a 1-0 win over Butler.

Started and played 90 minutes in a 3-1 win over Marquette, scoring a goal on one shot.

Name: Johnny Nartowicz

Date of Birth: Aug. 9, 1996

School: Rollins College

Position: Midfielder

Year: Freshman

Hometown: Orlando, FL

High School: Dr. Phillips High School

Nartowicz joined the Orlando City academy in 2012, immediately becoming a key part of the U-15/16 team. After playing for the U-17/18 team during the 2013-14 season, Nartowicz committed to play college soccer at UNC-Charlotte.

During the summer of 2015, Nartowicz continued his rise up the Orlando City development ladder by joining the Orlando City U23s. He took part in 11 games for the Lions, playing 580 minutes.

After redshirting during his freshman year in Charlotte, Nartowicz decided to return home and attend Rollins College. Under long-time Rollins head coach Keith Buckley, Nartowicz has had a breakout season for the Tars and is a player to keep an eye on going into the future.
