Orlando Pride Mock Draft
Under the category of “that didn’t take long,” The Keeper Notes provides an Orlando Pride mock draft for the NWSL Expansion Draft. We already know about the details on the Alex Morgan deal, but how does that potentially play out in the expansion draft?
Timbers' Miracle Goal, or Miracle Stop
If you didn’t see the 11-round penalty kick shootout between Sporting KC and the Portland Timbers, well let’s just say it came down to the goalies. Goalies taking the shots. In the end, Timbers goalie Adam Kwarasey, drove home the winner, but the game wasn’t over until he made one last save. That wasn’t even the wildest moment, with a shot from Sporting KC’s Saad Abdul-Salaam bouncing off each post before not going in.
D.C. United Down a Captain
It seems that an off-the-ball incident, also known as a knee to the leg, will keep Bobby Boswell out for D.C. United’s first-leg Eastern Conference semifinal match against the New York Red Bulls. Boswell was issued a yellow card for the foul against Juan Agudelo, but a review of the league’s disciplinary committee resulted in a one game suspension.
Liverpool to London
New Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp takes his squad to London to battle Chelsea. Klopp is coming off his first win as manager, and Chelsea has been less than stellar. Can Liverpool take points without Christian Benteke and Daniel Sturridge? Chelsea won the league last year, and have yet to get back to form. Both teams have much to prove and it could be a good one.
A Different Kind of Red
It seems that a red card can do more than just take a player out of a game. It can also take a player out of position. In quite an odd set of circumstances, Lukas Nottbeck of FC Viktoria Koln tried to return a red card that the ref simply dropped. That act of kindness, resulted in Nottbeck being out of position and allowing striker Stefan Kiessling of Bayer Leverkusen to score. Of course, since Bayer Leverkusen won the match 6-0, that particular goal wasn’t exactly a determining factor.

FIFA Officials Corrupt!
OK, that's not really shocking. Seems that suspended Sepp Blatter is throwing shade on 90-day suspended Michel Platini. Corruption, scandal, it's all in there.
