Each week, several Orlando City academy graduates appear for colleges all around the country. In this week’s Orlando City Academy College Roundup, we look at how those players did this past week.

This week, 46 Orlando City academy products made appearances spanning different levels of college soccer.

Carr joined the Orlando City academy in its inaugural year of 2012 playing for the U-17/18 team. Carr began his collegiate career at Taylor University, starting all 18 games of the 2013 season. He then transferred to Eastern Florida State College for 2014, where he was named 2014-15 Eastern Florida State Male Student Athlete of the Year. During his sophomore year, Carr was named NJCAA Division 1 first team All-American. During the summer of 2015, Carr joined the Orlando City U-23s for the 2015 PDL season.

Freeman joined the Orlando City academy for her senior year of high school in 2013. She has represented the United States at the U-14, U-15, U-17, and U-20 levels. As a freshman at USC, Freeman was named All-Pac 12 First Team for her work on the back line. Her sophomore season she started 21 games, with 19 coming as a defender. Now in her junior year, Freeman is again a regular starter for the 16th-ranked Trojans.
