Going into the weekend, the second half of the MLS conference semifinals wrapped up and who doesn't enjoy a full day of MLS action?!

Well now. Let's get to the links!

The MLS Conference Finals Are Locked In

Thankfully, the Red Bulls put D.C. United out of their misery. For D.C., they finally had a shot on goal, but it wasn't enough and New York will take on Columbus, which managed to knock out the Impact in extra time. Out in the West, FC Dallas advances after a penalty shootout victory over the Seattle Sounders. The last five minutes of the match before extra time were exciting to watch. The Portland Timbers also move on after a 2-0 win at Vancouver, following the scoreless first leg in Portland. The MLS playoffs will continue after the international dates, on November 22.

Chicharito Rumored to be Headed Back to the EPL

Once rumored to be linked with a move to Orlando City, the Mexican forward has been in form in Germany and now Chicharito has been rumored to go to Chelsea in hopes of saving the season for them. At this point, I don’t believe any transfer rumor about Chicharito until I see him on the pitch. I’m glad he never ended up playing for Orlando City.

Former Player Rumored to be Next Union Coach, Does the Current Coach Know?

In a heartwarming story, the Philadelphia Union are rumored to reunite with Veljko Paunovic as their next coach. The only problem is Jim Curtin is still head coach of the team. Real Madrid Defender Scores on a Sweet Bicycle Kick

Sergio Ramos, the Real Madrid defender, sacrificed his body on this goal, but Sevilla FC still managed to beat Real Madrid. A quiet match for Ronaldo and a loss for Los Blancos, as El Clasico looms ahead.

A Crazy Ending in Collegiate Final

Under two minutes to play in the North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Tournament final with Kenyon up 2-0 over Ohio Wesleyan, what's the harm leaving early to get a jump on traffic. Wait, what??

That's going to be it for today. Until next time!
