Hey kiddos, it's time for your daily dose of Lions' news! It's Thursday and I know you kids like the #thirstythursday.

With my first post, allow me to introduce this week's wine and cheese pairing, it is Pino Nior and Gruyère to give you a nice sweet and savory combination–much like these links.

Stadium Plans Show Changes

So first, we’re going to look back at how the stadium has changed since its initial development. The City of Orlando’s Appearance Review Board is meeting with stadium project manager Doug Metzger, who is requesting some amendments to the initial filings. Amendments include reducing the view of the pitch from Church Street, and moving the scoreboard and screen from the Parramore Ave. end into the southeast corner. A complete list of changes to Orlando City’s stadium is available on page four of the board’s agenda.

Laser Pointer 1, Cyle Larin 0

Cyle Larin, Orlando’s favorite Canadian son, couldn’t find the back of the net Tuesday for his national team in a 0-0 draw in El Salvador. He did, however, have a laser pointed at him by fans of La Selecta, so, that’s not scary or anything. He also hit the bar in the 42nd minute and missed to the right in the 90th.

Is MLS Getting Rid of the Expansion Draft?

Remember when Orlando City had their Expansion Draft? You were all so young and precocious back then. Well, it turns out MLS may be doing away with Expansion Drafts altogether. The next crop of MLS teams in Atlanta, Minnesota, and Los Angeles could potentially build their rosters differently than teams prior to them as the league may experiment with expanding the number of international slots and increasing allocation money.

The Pride's Crown Will Get you to Run the Jewels

And just like that, the Orlando Pride have their official supporters' group. Details are scarce at the moment but they do have a contact page on their site for those of you looking for more information.

Alex Morgan Says Soccer is Bringing the World Together

In the wake of the tragic attacks in Paris, Alex Morgan was approached and asked if she was afraid of stepping onto the pitch. The Orlando forward stated that no one should be afraid and that the sport is “bringing the world together if anything.” This was perfectly exemplified prior to the EnglandFrance friendly Tuesday that included a tribute to victims of the Paris attacks, featuring players and fans from both sides singing “La Marseillaise,” the French national anthem.

Extra Time +4'

Orlando City has its own Giphy page. I know how much you kiddos love the gifs.

Elsewhere in MLS, the Seattle Sounders offered Jordan Morris the largest homegrown contract in league history.

The Pride's Kaylyn Kyle helped out an Aurora, Ontario, Canada youth soccer club Saturday. She participated in two on-field demonstrations as well as a Q&A session afterward.

Kyle's teammate, Toni Pressley, was in Satellite Beach working on dribbling and shooting. Maybe a move to striker is in order for the defender?

Maybe I’ll get to play forward again one day

That's it for the links today, folks. Enjoy your Thursday!
