Orlando City Academy College Roundup 11/23/15
Each week, several Orlando City academy graduates appear for colleges all around the country. In this week’s Orlando City Academy College Roundup, we look at how those players did this past week.
This week, 13 Orlando City academy products made appearances spanning different levels of college soccer tournaments.
BOYS ACADEMY PRODUCTS
Noah Franke – Sophomore – MF – Creighton University
Started and played 80 minutes Sunday in a 5-1 NCAA Tournament win over Drake, recording an assist and two shots.
Michael Melvin – Sophomore – MF – Clemson University
Started and played 62 minutes Sunday in 5-2 NCAA Tournament win over Elon, recording one shot and two assists.
Nicholas O'Callaghan – Freshman – D – Elon University
Started and played 75 minutes Thursday in a 3-0 NCAA Tournament win over Winthrop.
Started and played 76 minutes Sunday in a 5-2 NCAA Tournament loss to Clemson.
Jaiden Fortune – Freshman – F – Elon University
Played 35 minutes Thursday in a 3-0 NCAA Tournament win over Winthrop, recording an assist.
Played 65 minutes Sunday in a 5-2 NCAA Tournament loss to Clemson, recording a goal and an assist on one shot.

Player Spotlight
Name: Jaiden Fortune
Date of Birth: May 28, 1997
School: Elon University
Position: Forward
Year: Freshman

High School: Pine Ridge High School
Fortune joined the Orlando City Academy for the 2013-14 season. He would continue with the club until he enrolled at Elon this year. During his first season with the Lions, Fortune scored nine goals. He bettered that number last season by netting ten goals, which was third on the team.
This year, Fortune has played in 20 games, starting two. As the season has gone on, Fortune has become a much more integral part of the Phoenix offense, scoring four goals and accumulating five assist during his rookie campaign.

Date of Birth: June 27, 1996
School: Palm Beach Atlantic University

Year: Sophomore
Hometown: Sanford, FL
High School: Seminole High School
Campbell joined the Orlando City Academy during its first season in 2012. She quickly became a key member of the Lions' U-17 ECNL team. She then joined the club's U-18 team before moving on to play at Palm Beach Atlantic University.
After starting her freshman season as a reserve, Campbell quickly became a starter and started 11 of 15 games that season. She would end her first collegiate season with three goals. This season, Campbell has continued to play a key role for the Sailfish, starting seven of 15 games.
