These few links of Orlando City are bringing the news to whereever you are. Windermere and Maitland, Parramore and Lake Eola's fountain. Following yonder Cyle Larin.

Merry Christmas everyone! While I'm not sure which is appropriate Christmas ham or Christmas turkey, I'm gonna be feasting on this news we have.

Orlando City Wishes Supporters Happy Holidays

At a recent training session, Orlando City manager Adrian Heath, along with several players, took time out to wish fans a happy holiday and a Happy New Year. In addition, all of us here at The Mane Land would like to wish you and yours a Happy Holiday and a Happy New Year.

Pedro Ribeiro Looks Back on Orlando City’s First MLS Season

Recently, Orlando City midfielder Pedro Ribeiro spoke with Goal Brazil and shared his thoughts on OCSC’s inaugural MLS Season. In between his thoughts on narrowly missing out on the playoffs and the support the club has received in the city, he shared what it’s like having an international superstar like Kaká as a roommate.

“On my first trip as his roommate, I was quite intimidated being around a player of his caliber, he’s always been an idol,” he said. So there I was, on my bed, talking with my parents on Skype… without my headphones, which I usually don’t do. So when my folks spotted Kaka, they started ‘Wow, Kaka? I can’t believe he’s just by your side! Is he sleeping? And he heard everything, he was looking at me and laughing. It was an awkward, but fun moment. But he’s a very cool, humble guy, so he just came by and started chatting with my mom and dad.

LA Galaxy Continues Salary Dump, Send Juninho to Club Tijuana

A day removed from selling Omar Gonzalez, Galaxy continues to make room for additional signings by transferring the former Sao Paulo midfielder to Mexico’s Club Tijuana. The rumor of Ashley Cole joining Los Angeles has picked up steam heading into the winter transfer window and continued moves like this by the club help contribute to the whispers.

History of English Football Being Played at Christmas

Here in the U.S. we haven't had league play in over a month. However, the Barclays Premier League is in the middle of its season and play isn't stopping for the holiday. In fact, it never has. A brief overview of matches taking place at Christmas over the last 150-plus years showcases various fixtures, including the mythical Christmas Day truce game between German and British troops that may or may not have happened.

A New Women's Second League Has Emerged

Starting in 2016, the eight-team United Women's Soccer is expected to begin play in May and its members expect to include some former WPSL teams. The pro-am league is mostly focused in the Northeast, so I wouldn't expect an OCB equivalent for the Orlando Pride just yet. The league's birth is directly related to the rise of the NWSL and quiet demise of the W-League, which announced its decision to not return for a 22nd season last month.

Well, that's it for today everyone! Play us out, Ronaldo and Kaká!
