Good Monday morning to you Mane Landers. The march to the start of the regular season is starting to feel real. Supporter groups are revitalizing, preseason matches are kicking off, and news continues to break. It's almost too much to bear. Oh, and I guess a couple of teams played a football game in California too. So grab your favorite morning beverage and enjoy today's Lion Links.

Orlando City Dominates East Florida State College

Down in Melbourne, the Lions took to the pitch for the first time this preseason to take on the Titans. Our own Sean Rollins was at the match to report on the 4-0 win. The chill didn't put a damper on everyone at attendance. The supporters sounded in mid-season form, while Head Coach Adrian Heath was able to get a first-hand look at his players in competitive action. Once the final whistle blew, everyone went home happy.

Kaká Representing OCSC at Super Bowl

If you were like most Americans yesterday, you were sitting down to watch the Super Bowl, either for the commercials, or the halftime show, or maybe you were actually interested in the game. Our captain Kaká was there to rep the MLS at the event. Being the real most interesting man in the world, Kaká met up with Golden State Warriors player, Steph Curry. This is the impression he made on Curry.

That's pretty sweet to see greatness honor greatness. The Lions didn't need their captain yesterday anyway.

The Lions' Away Kit Leaked Online

You can always count on the internet to find just about anything that you are looking for. Yesterday was no different when the website Footyheadlines.com revealed the 2016 away kits. The first look and reaction to the kit was mixed by The Mane Land staff mostly positive with the notable exception of the fake collar. We'll be able to get a better look at the away kits officially at the Orlando City open practice on Tuesday at the Citrus Bowl.

The rest of the league is also preparing for the regular season with preseason matches. The good folks at MLSsoccer.com have collected all the preseason results from around the league…This weekend in the Orlando Sentinel, Paul Tenorio wrote a great piece on goalkeeper Earl Edwards, Jr., who is working this preseason to earn the starting job…In case you missed it, San Antonio FC revealed its name and the team crest. The logo is reflective of the ownership group as you can't miss the spur on the shield…This week, the USWNT will start to punch its ticket to Rio as the Olympic qualifying tournament kicks off in Texas…NBC Sports Network will televise all the four games the U.S. will play in the group stage, which is great news because originally the channel was only going to televise two matches. All the matches will be streamed by NBC Live Extra online.

I hope this links will hold you Mane Landers until tomorrow. See you guys at the open practice. Until then, Keep roaring.
