Orlando City Players and Fans Enjoy Second Annual Open Practice at the Citrus Bowl

For the second straight year, Orlando City hosted an open practice at the Citrus Bowl in front of season ticket members. The practice also marked the reveal for the away jerseys for the upcoming season.

While the hype compared to last season wasn't quite there, at least three to four thousand people came to watch the hour and a bit practice on the Citrus Bowl's artificial turf.

The players went through their warmups, training, and drills as the fans purchased food and had access to purchase the new away kits in the makeshift store near the north entrance.

"It was nice to get back in our stadium," Head Coach Adrian Heath said after practice. "It felt good to be out there. You could see as the evening wore on the lads were enjoying it more and more, to the extent that they were a bit disappointed when I stopped it."

Like last year, there was an autograph session held for the season ticket holders with most of the players. The process was much more streamlined compared to last year, where fans were just around a cordoned off area. This year they had lines for different players, Kaká being the most popular.

Last night also marked one of the first practices with Cyle Larin back from national team duty. It was also one of the first times fans were able to see him rocking his new number nine jersey.

"I was always number nine when I was younger," Larin said about the number change. "21 was given to me and it was a great number last year and hopefully number nine can be a great number too."
