USA vs. France SheBelieves Cup: How to Watch, TV Info, Live Stream, Preview and More

Welcome to your live thread for today's United States Women's National Team's match against France! This is game number two in the 2016 SheBelieves Cup for the U.S.

The Yanks got the tournament off to a great start with a 1-0 win over England Thursday night thanks to a beautiful strike from Crystal Dunn. The Washington Spirit star is one of the best players sporting the U.S. crest currently and is definitely someone fans, and France, should keep an eye on this afternoon. That being said, it will be interesting to see if Dunn comes off the bench as she did against the English or gets a start.

While Dunn is no stranger to being in the starting lineup, coach Jill Ellis has decided to give Dunn's spot on the wing to the 17-year-old phenom Mallory Pugh in the last few games. No matter who starts, some competition for time out wide will do nothing but help both of these young talents continue to grow.

Dunn is not the only player who is pumping goals in for the U.S. lately. Expect chances for the Yanks to come from Orlando Pride star Alex Morgan and captain Carli Lloyd. At least one of the aforementioned duo has scored in five of the last seven games for the U.S. and Lloyd is tied with Dunn for most goals this year for the USWNT, with seven.

In terms of rankings, this will be the toughest team the U.S. has faced since the World Cup final. France is third in the world and has a multitude of attacking options that will keep Hope Solo and the back line far busier than they have been since Canada 2015. The French will be looking to bounce back from a tough 1-0 defeat on Thursday to Germany and know they can defeat the USWNT. France took down the Yanks, 2-0, in February 2015 and also have a 2-2 draw with U.S. from July 2014.

France was also a shootout away from meeting the U.S. in the World Cup semis and is capable of beating the U.S. on any given day. This will be a great game that will test the U.S. in all areas. If you're a U.S. soccer fan, this is not a game you want to miss!

Match Thread Rules:

This is your live thread for posting comments on the match. So use our comments section below to talk about the game in real time with our supporters. If you are new, welcome to our happy home! While you are here, please observe a few basic rules:

  • Absolutely no illegal streams, they can get us in trouble and nobody wants that.
  • Try not to be “that guy” who does nothing but spit venom at the team. Being critical is fine — every team can be frustrating to watch sometimes — but constantly being too negative can diminish the fun for others.
  • Keep it clean and fair when criticizing officials. You never know who might be reading.
  • Treat others in the match thread as you would like to treated in the thread. We are a fun community and would like to keep it that way. There is a moderator, but we’d rather let him enjoy the game instead of having to play babysitter.
  • Lastly, while we do not have any rules against profanity, do not abuse this non-rule. Any language that is sexist, racist or homophobic will be swiftly deleted and you may lose posting privileges. We are all in this together.

Enjoy the game. Go USA!
