With the USWNT doing well in the SheBelieves Cup, the ladies fighting for a place on that senior roster are also racking up their own silverware by winning the Istria Cup by beating the French U-23 team 2-0 in Croatia. The tournament provided a great opportunity for players like the Pride's Samantha Witteman the chance to show off their skills as they try to lock down a spot on the USWNT roster for the 2016 Rio Olympics.

FIFA Wants More Women in Soccer

Tennis great Billie Jean King believes that the current vacant spot of Secretary General should be given to a woman who has a record in helping gender equality.

And to end today’s links we want to wish Orlando City defender Aurélien Collin a very happy 30th birthday and share his opinions on faith, football and Orlando City.
