Good Tuesday morning, Mane Landers. I'm excited by the fact Orlando finally has all three soccer teams here now participating in soccer activities. After last week's MLS action, I was able to move up the fantasy rankings, but I'm still not close to the top spot. Maybe I should ask for help from someone that knows what they are doing or I might just work on my NCAA tournament bracket. Anyway, enough about that. Let's go to the links.

Orlando Pride Preseason Camp Underway

Yesterday was the first day of practice for the Pride, and I recapped everything from day one here. The Mane Land will be providing ongoing coverage on the Pride. Keep an eye out as we begin to introduce the players to you and provide the analysis you have come to expect from us. The Pride's first preseason friendly is this Saturday in Melbourne as they take on Eastern Florida State College.

Orlando City B Takes Shape

Speaking of preseason friendlies, the start of the season for OCB is only two weeks away. The reserves will also take on the men's team at East Florida State College in the early game in a doubleheader with the Pride on Saturday. Head Coach Anthony Pulis is eager to see his team begin its first campaign in the United Soccer League. Florida Today caught up with Pulis as he spoke on the long preseason and the style OCB will play in USL. When I'm not at the Citrus Bowl, you can bet I'll be at Titan Soccer Complex for a match in Melbourne.

Sean Johnson Talks Orlando

UCF grad and current Chicago Fire goalkeeper Sean Johnson returned to Orlando this past weekend. While he might not have faced our Lions when he was back in town, Johnson sat down with fan favorite Aurélien Collin to talk about the city of Orlando and some of his favorite things when it comes to the City Beautiful. I’m not going to spoil the story by saying everything Collin talked about, but he ends the story by giving credit to Orlando City’s supporter groups, which he calls “great.”

And About Those Supporters

The supporters’ groups put a lot of time and effort into showing their love for the team. One of the main parts of the group that sacrifices the most is the Capo. That sacrifice doesn’t go unnoticed, as MLSsoccer.com wrote a story showing love to the Capo in the supporters’ groups. I only wish the Lions’ supporters were highlighted more instead of those from the Section 8 and other groups that have been around longer in MLS. Seems a little disrespectful. Oh, Atlanta United, what can of worms have you opened? I don’t think our supporters needed more motivation against AUFC. Let the rivalry begin!
