Good Monday morning, Mane Landers. It certainly was an exciting time to be a soccer fan this weekend. Orlando City didn't get the result we wanted, but the Pride did well and we only have to wait five days for the Lions to get another shot at snapping that skid. Here are your Monday morning links:

Orlando City Match Review

It wasn’t a pretty match Sunday afternoon. The Lions defense faced the third-most shots ever in an MLS match from Sporting Kansas City. However, we’re here to provide full coverage, so, here it is:

Tim Howard On His Way

Sunday was the end of an era, as Tim Howard played his last match for Everton. His final match at home was emotional as Everton handily beat Norwich City, 3-0. Before the game, Tim Howard penned a letter to the fans who cheered him on for the last 10 years. It was quite the send-off, as Howard prepares for his debut for the Colorado Rapids this summer.

Premier League Security Scare

If you woke up to watch Manchester United attempt to get themselves to fourth in the table on Sunday, you’d be disappointed, as a scary scene developed, causing the match to be abandoned to a later date due to a suspicious package found in Old Trafford. The item was reported to be from a private company training exercise for bomb sniffing dogs. Glad to see officials take any threat seriously. It seems unlikely United will finish fourth in the table because Manchester City drew 1-1 with Swansea City, so the Red Devils will need a 19-0 victory in the rearranged match with Bournemouth to overtake City. Keep hope alive.

How Not To Protest a Team's Performance

Soccer fans are a passionate bunch, and sometimes supporters are known to do some crazy things. Things might have escalated quickly in Turkey as Eskişehirspor was relegated, so their fans took their frustrations on this season to the most (il)logical place. The supporters decided to light the team's stadium on fire. Truly the best way to show the club you love that you care.
