Joe Bendik Up for MLS Save of the Week

This past week against the New England Revolution, Joe Bendik made a yet another save to put him up for MLS Save of the Week, blocking a shot from Charlie Davies by tipping the ball over the goal. If Bendik wins this week it will be his eighth Save of the Week award, giving him over one third of the season's best stops. Evan Bush is also up for the accolade after making a diving save against DC.

Kaká Comes in with the Second-Best Assist for the Week

Joining Bendik, Cyle Larin and Kevin Molino on Orlando City's list of players to be recognized this week is none other than the captain, Kaká. His assist to Molino for City's final goal vs. New England is was what earned him the accolade. Armchair Analyst Kevin Doyle considered this to be noteworthy because of Kaká's selflessness in allowing Molino to score the goal, rather than taking the shot himself. This is Kaká's sixth assist of the 2016 season in only 11 games.

Tyler Turner Also Recognized for Terrific lay

Orlando City continues to make a splash in the awards this week as Tyler Turner received the honor of being named No. 4 on the United Soccer League 20 Under 20 list. Turner has played a vital role in the inaugural season of Orlando City B, scoring four goals and registering one assist. This terrific season could begin a campaign for him to get back into the rotation of the first team.

Where and When to Watch the Pride Players During the Olympics

With the opening ceremonies right around the corner, many Pride players are gearing up to represent their home countries in Rio de Janeiro (and elsewhere in Brazil) in the 2016 Olympics. With games quickly approaching, I'm sure many of you are wondering where and when you can watch your beloved players. Alex Morgan and Ashlyn Harris (alternate) will begin play with the United States tonight when they take on New Zealand at 6 p.m. ET. The Yanks will then move on to face France on Saturday, Aug. 6 at 4 p.m. and Columbia on Tuesday, Aug. 9 at 6 p.m.

These three games will determine whether they will then move onto the knockout round. Defender Monica Alves will also begin play tonight as she and Brazil take on China at 2 p.m., moving on to play South Africa and Sweden later on in the week. Our Aussies, Steph Catley and Laura Alleway, will take on their teammate Josée Bélanger and Canada today at 3 p.m. With the NWSL on a month-long break, fill your need for women's soccer by catching all the upcoming Olympic games.
