Good morning, Lions fans. Yesterday proved to be an exciting day in the world of soccer as the United States Men's National Team fired its head coach, Justin Bieber trained with FC Barcelona, the U.S. women's U-20s advanced to the quarterfinals in the World Cup, and so much more. Take some time out of your busy morning and catch up with these links.

Klinsmann Out for USMNT, Arena in?

Yesterday, the USMNT announced that Head Coach Jürgen Klinsmann has been fired after five years and a record of 55-27-16. As soon as the news broke, reports began swirling about who would take his place and the overwhelming favorite seems to be Bruce Arena. Arena coached the United States from 1998-2006 and has spent the last 10 years in MLS with the Red Bulls and LA Galaxy, winning five MLS Cup championships. As the head coach for the United States, he led the team to a World Cup quarterfinal in 2002 and two Gold Cup wins. While an official announcement has not been made, reports are clear that Arena will likely become the front man of U.S. soccer once again.

Cyle Larin Not Satisfied

Looking at the stats from his first two MLS seasons, one might say that Cyle Larin has succeeded in becoming a well-rounded player for Orlando City, playing a vital role on the Lions’ roster. However, Larin does not see it that way. Still disappointed from the failure to qualify for the MLS playoffs, Larin is admitting that he played well, but not well enough.

“I started the season off well and I was scoring goals but then I kind of went down,” he explained. “I think I could certainly have scored more goals this year. There are still chances I look back [on] and think, if I’d scored, it would probably have changed the game. I didn’t score three goals at any time this year, and that also [bugs me].”

His goals for next season are simple: to score more goals, finish as one of the top three goal scorers in the league, and make the playoffs. During the off-season he will be performing an intense workout program to get in top shape, and he'll be focusing his complete attention on the upcoming season.

Kevin Molino Among the Best of 2016

Major League Soccer has released its Best of 2016, looking at every club's MVP, and included in the list was Orlando City's Kevin Molino. The Trinidadian played a vital role in Orlando's sophomore season, coming in second on the squad in both goals and assists, trailing just Larin and Kaká in those categories, respectively. After tearing his ACL last year, Molino came back strong and made an evident impact for the Lions, and the dynamic attacker earned this distinction from the league's official site.

OCSC Academy U-17/18 Ranked No. 1 in the Country

Orlando City's Academy team is now ranked No. 1 in the country after defeating Weston FC Saturday in Sanford. The U-17s/18s have now won five games in a row to give them a three-point lead over the New York Red Bulls and a six-point lead over Atlanta United FC. While they are currently sitting at the top of the leaderboard, they face a tough competition in the 2016 U.S. Soccer Development Academy Winter Showcase, competing against the Red Bulls, Sporting Kansas City, and more.

U.S. U-20s Moving on to Quarterfinals

The United States Women's U-20s have been competing for the past few weeks in the 2016 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Papua New Guinea and, after finishing the group stage, the women will be moving on to the quarterfinals. During group play, the United States faced Ghana, France, and New Zealand, defeating New Zealand and drawing against both France and Ghana. The four goals came from Mallory Pugh, (2) Ashley Sanchez, and Ally Watt. Eight teams have qualified to move on in the tournament, including Korea, Spain, Japan, Brazil, Mexico, Germany, France, and the Untied States. The U.S. will play Mexico on Friday.

Justin Bieber Trains with Barcelona

Barcelona is attracting more than just great players. Just yesterday they had pop star Justin Bieber in Camp Nou to train with the team. Who knows how he actually did, but the pictures sure make it seem as if he had a good time. Does this mean anyone can train with them? Because if so, I want in.

That's it for today, have a great Tuesday!
