Alex Morgan Sparks More Rumors
For the past few days, rumors of an Alex Morgan transfer to Olympique Lyon have been circulating. Morgan herself has not done much to quiet the rumors as her social media features pictures of her currently in Europe. She posted several pictures of herself on what appears to be a vacation in Spain, and without confirmation it may very well be just that. There has still yet to be confirmation from either Lyon or the Pride on whether or not Morgan will be spending time playing in France.

Ashlyn Harris Returns from Africa
Orlando Pride goalkeeper Ashlyn Harris has spent the last week in Liberia with United States Women's National Team Head Coach Jill Ellis. The two worked alongside one another at the Monrovia Football Academy, the first school in Liberia to combine education with professional football development. Harris trained young goalkeepers and got to spend time in the classroom educating young athletes on leadership and women's empowerment. Harris and Ellis even got to watch a match alongside Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, U.S. Ambassador Christine Edler and Liberia Minister of Youth and Sports Saah N'Tow.
Atlanta United Makes a Major Signing
It appears as if Atlanta United is counting on bolstering its roster with the signing of Miguel Almiron. He was spotted at the Atlanta Falcons game with club president Darren Eales and technical director Carlos Bacanegra. The 23-year-old midfielder from Paraguay currently plays with Lanus in Argentina. Atlanta United Manager Tata Martino spoke with the radio program La Sobremes de Futbol on Radio Monumental 1080 AM, stating that they had signed the midfielder for $13 million and plan to announce the acquisition following MLS Cup.
That is all for today. Enjoy your Monday and make sure to check back here later for more Lions news.
