Good morning, Mane Landers! Today we have another game day with Orlando City traveling to the Windy City to take on Bastian Schweinsteiger and the Chicago Fire at 8:30 p.m. The Pride are playing a rematch against the Houston Dash — this time at home at 3:30 p.m. With match-ups like these it's set up to be another fantastic match day. Now let's get to the links.

OCB Beats Rochester Rhinos, 1-0

Orlando City B earned a vital road win as the young Lions beat the Rochester Rhinos, 1-0. It was a great feat because the Rhinos hadn't lost a home game all year and they showed it. OCB was on the defensive most of the game, but Timbo's 18th minute goal was enough for the Lions to prevail.

Tom Sermanni Looks Back on Last Meeting with Houston Dash

It’s not so long ago that the Pride took on Carli Lloyd and the Houston Dash. In fact, they beat them 4-2 last Saturday in Houston. Today, the Dash have the unusual opportunity to try and get revenge just one week after their loss.

Head Coach Tom Sermanni reminisced on their last meeting saying, “I think probably, I hate to say this, but maybe a good thing that we coughed up two late goals in that game. We certainly know that we can’t be going into this game with any complacency, going into this game saying, ‘Well, we’ve won five out of six against Houston, so we just need to walk on the field and win.’ This is going to be a very difficult game for us at the weekend.”

Orlando City Wants to Host the 2019 All-Star Game

Orlando City's new stadium is one of the best in MLS and could very well be the destination of the 2019 MLS All-Star Game. It seems that Orlando City will be submitting a bid as it is one of CEO Alex Laitão's dreams to see the game come to the City Beautiful. Of course, this opportunity won't be free. Apparently they need to obtain $350,000 to host, much of which will come from tourist tax dollars. If it goes through, it will be the first time six percent of the tourist tax fund will be spent on a private venture.

Orlando Pride to Celebrate LGBTQ Month

Ever since the Pulse terrorist attack, Orlando City has made it very clear that the club stands with the LGBTQ community. The club’s latest action can be seen in the Pride game this afternoon. The Pride players will be wearing equality t-shirts to warm up and have rainbow colored numbers in game.

Pride’s Camila Loves Playing With Marta

In the off-season, the Orlando Pride obtained the Brazilian duo of Marta and Camila. Recently, Camila gave her thoughts on being able to play with a player the caliber of Marta.

USWNT Regains No. 1 World Ranking

The reigning Women's World Cup champions have now been recognized as the best team in the world in FIFA's latest rankings once again. The place was previously held by current Olympic champion Germany. USWNT World Cup winner Alex Morgan should be joining up with a woman from the No. 8 women’s team, Brazil (Marta), to try and help the Pride make their first ever playoff appearance.

That’s all for today’s Lion Links. I hope you guys enjoyed it. Have a wonderful game day!
