Orlando City B vs. FC Cincinnati: Preview and How to Watch

on

It will be a historic day at Orlando City Stadium today, as Orlando City B (5-6-4, 19 points) hosts FC Cincinnati (5-5-5, 20 points) in the first ever doubleheader at the new stadium. The United Soccer League match will follow the Orlando Pride’s National Women’s Soccer League match against the Chicago Red Stars.

Cincinnati enters this match coming off of a big win in the U.S. Open Cup against the Chicago Fire. They also won their last USL match against Saint Louis FC with a 2-0 clean sheet result.

Djiby Fall has been a dangerous attacking player for Cincinnati as the striker has seven goals in nine appearances in the USL.

OCB finished off its three-game road trip with a 1-0 win over the Rochester Rhinos. Timbó scored the match-winner and Earl Edwards Jr. recorded the clean sheet in net making two saves.

This is the second meeting between the two sides this season. OCB defeated Cincinnati on the road in May by a 2-0 final, as Pierre Da Silva and Richie Laryea scored to defeat the home side. That was the first win for OCB in the series (1-2-0) as FC Cincinnati won both meetings last year.

OCB defender Zach Ellis-Hayden will have to be careful during the match, as he is one booking away from a one-match suspension for yellow card accumulation.
