With Hurricane Irma moving closer to Orlando, Orlando City has announced that the Orlando Pride and Orlando City B games have been rescheduled to accommodate the situation. OCB was originally scheduled to take on the Richmond Kickers at 7:30 p.m. at Orlando City Stadium Thursday, but will now play at 4:30 p.m. The Pride were scheduled to take on the Seattle Reign on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. but will now follow the OCB game at 8 p.m.

The change in the schedule comes at a key time for both teams as they seek a playoff spot. OCB is currently in sixth place in the USL’s Eastern Conference and will be taking on a Kickers team that is in 14th. The Pride are looking to qualify for their first-ever postseason, currently sitting in the fourth and final playoff position, just five points ahead of Thursday’s opponents.

Tickets for Saturday’s Pride game will be honored on Thursday evening and fans are encouraged to attend both games. Seating for the OCB game will be general admission, while Pride ticket holders will be able to sit in their specific seats.

Both teams enter on hot streaks. OCB is unbeaten in 12 matches (4-0-8) while the Pride have won five straight and are unbeaten in six. If the Pride beat the Reign tomorrow night, they’ll clinch a playoff spot, as they’ll be eight points ahead of Seattle with two games to play and although Sky Blue could match Orlando’s point total, the Pride hold the tie breaker.
