Lion Links: 5/1/19
Good morning, Mane Landers! There was a time when I would read these links much later than they were originally posted…but a puppy means a new morning routine, which means things are done much earlier so I can enjoy links. How’s your week going so far? Surely a home match this weekend is the answer to our mid-week woes! Here’s what you may or may not have missed.
Ashlyn Harris Should be Fine
Pro Soccer USA reported that Orlando Pride Head Coach Marc Skinner thinks Ashlyn Harris will be just fine. The goalkeeper hurt her knee during warm-ups as the team prepared to take on the Utah Royals. Harris didn’t play and is currently being treated for her injury.

Orlando City B’s Juliano Chade on USL Team of the Week
Goalkeeper Juliano Chade kept Orlando City B in the game against North Texas, successfully saving six shots while the only goal against was the unfortunate own goal. We found out on Tuesday that he earned his way into the USL League One Team of the Week in the process. This is the second time Chade has seen Team of the Week honors already this season.

The OCSC Social Media Team is More Social
Is it just me, or has the social media team been much funnier this season? You all already know how much I love the social media accounts and value them when I can’t watch, but OCSC seems to be taking it to the next level. Their posts have been witty, smart, and include banter with other teams. They’re all about pumping the fans up for this weekend’s match, and I’m here for it!

- Does Paul Pogba want to leave Manchester United?
- Data-obsessed site FiveThirtyEight predicts MLS success.
- There’s still time to get your tickets for the Orlando City Foundation’s Ladies Lunch and BINGO event this June.
That’ll do it for me this week. If you didn’t know, local school districts offered discount tickets to teachers for the game this Saturday. Have you ever seen what happens when a bunch of teachers get together? Experience the magic for yourself and don’t miss the match.
