Meeting OCSC Players Never Gets Old

The fact that the club works with local sponsors to help fans meet players from Orlando City is a huge deal. I know they do them regularly, but has anyone stopped and thought about how cool it is that the club and players take the time to come out and give such accessibility to the supporters? In any case, fans will have the opportunity to meet Uri Rosell tonight. He’ll be at the Moe’s in Winter Park from 6-7:30 p.m.

Who Knows Ali Krieger Better?

In an effort to bring awareness to the Trevor Project, Ali sat down with her brother, Kyle, and fiancée Ashlyn Harris for a game of ‘who knows Ali best?’ The Trevor Project is an organization that helps provide resources and crisis interventions for LGBTQ youth. Fans sent in questions, Ali picked her favorites, and the two battled it out. Set aside the 13 minutes if you need a good laugh!

Alanna Kennedy Will be with Sydney FC Again for the next W-League Season

Kennedy will return to the Australian squad with whom she found success last season. Head Coach Ante Juric said:

“I’m delighted to have the majority of last season’s title winning squad back with us for this season. A lot of our players will be a year older and a year wiser from their experience of winning the Championship last season and to able to maintain that consistency in the squad is fabulous. We will be working hard in the next few weeks to prepare ourselves for the upcoming season and prepare for the challenge of winning the 2020 title.”

Orlando City Foundation Looking for Volunteers

The club’s foundation has launched its Kicking it Back program for this year and the organization is still looking for volunteer coaches. This program brings soccer, health, and wellness education to underserved communities. As the foundation invests money into safe places for play, it also provides a fun and engaging environment in which students can learn. The free soccer programming serves about 150 third through fifth graders across 10 community centers. Don’t wait, sign up now to help!
