Orlando City B Announces Complete 2020 USL League One Schedule

The 2020 USL League One schedule was released this morning, stating where and when Orlando City B will play during its fourth year of existence and second in USL League One. As previously reported, the team will begin its season on March 28 in New England and will play its first home game in Kissimmee on April 11 against Chattanooga Red Wolves SC.

The team will start the season with a pair of road games as Osceola County Stadium is not expected to be ready for the start of the season. Those games will be against New England Revolution II and North Texas SC. The Young Lions will then return home to kick off their home schedule against Chattanooga Red Wolves SC and FC Tucson on April 11 and April 17.

As was the case last year, the schedule will consist of 28 games, 14 at home and 14 away. Since there are three new teams (New England Revolution II, Inter Miami, Union Omaha)  in the league and one dissolved (Lansing Ignite FC), the Young Lions will play six teams three times and five teams twice. OCB will face New England Revolution II, Chattanooga Red Wolves SC, FC Tucson, Union Omaha, Greenville Triumph, and Tormenta FC three times this season.

With travel being more of a concern in the third division, most of OCB’s road trips are paired. With the exception of a lone road game in Omaha in April, OCB will play two-game road trips through the first week of August. The longest home stand the team will have is in September when the Lions will face Forward Madison, Greenville Triumph, and Toronto FC II in consecutive home games.

In its first three years of existence, OCB has been relatively isolated in Florida. This year will see another club join the Young Lions in the Sunshine State. Inter Miami’s yet-to-be-named USL League One team joins the league during the club’s first year of existence. The two rivals will face off twice this season. The first will take place on June 21 in Fort Lauderdale with the return game taking place on July 24 at Osceola County Stadium.
