MLS Transfer Window Paused

The Major League Soccer transfer window is paused due to COVID-19. The league, U.S. Soccer, and Canada Soccer are working to determine when it would be appropriate to resume the transfer window in accordance with FIFA guidelines. Potential issues in opening the window too soon include players traveling across state lines while travel has been widely restricted around the world to help stop the spread.

USWNT Takes the Win

Hey, a win is a win! The United States Women’s National Team “4-Star” kit has won in the U.S. BracKITology fan vote. With more than 1.35 million votes it came down to a battle between the “4-Star” kit and and the 2020 Away States kit. Sorry guys, the men’s kits didn’t make it to the final vote. What say you? Premier League Prepares for Return

Reports say that the Premier League has a plan for safety upon return, including players being tested for COVID-19 twice a week. Premier League medical advisor Mark Gillett and experts from La Liga, Bundesliga, and club doctors from England’s top flight have devised the proposed plan. UEFA wants a plan in place by May 25 if they’re to finish the 2019-20 domestic season.

The Coronavirus Case That Won’t go Away

Juventus striker Paulo Dybala has tested positive for coronavirus for the fourth time in six weeks. It is unknown as to why he continues to test positive when teammates have made full recoveries. Back in March, when he first tested positive, it was hard for him to breathe and he became tired after only five minutes of physical activity. It has been reported that he’s feeling well and is no longer showing symptoms.
