More Details Emerge on MLS to Orlando

Multiple sources continue to report that the entirety of Major League Soccer could be headed to Orlando. If implemented, the proposed plan could see more than 1,000 players, coaches, and support staff in Central Florida to continue the 2020 season. The Athletic’s Sam Stejskal provided additional details, although you’ll need a subscription to get beyond this tweet and behind the paywall to read more.

Rivalries Continue to Heat up

Ah, the widely debated “rivalry” between Orlando City and Atlanta United makes its way to number eight in the MLS power rankings largely in part to Josef Martinez. Nani is certain he knows why Martinez continues to troll OCSC.

“I didn’t see (the trolling), but I can tell when he says that because he loves Orlando City,” Nani shared. “He likes Orlando. That’s why he makes so many jokes.”

The 1999 USWNT is Getting a Movie

It was announced yesterday that the rights to Jere Longman’s book The Girls of Summer: The US Women’s Soccer Team and How It Changed The World are headed to Netflix. Liza Chasin of Darkest Hour and HBO Sports President Ross Greenburg are attached to the project.

Win a Trip to the MLS All-Star Game

Submit your designs by posting to Instagram or Twitter, tagging @MLS, and adding #MLSArtContest.
