Orlando City Announces 2026 Preseason Schedule
The Lions will face three MLS teams and one USL League One opponent during the preseason as they prepare for the 2026 season.
Orlando City announced its preseason schedule for the 2026 campaign this afternoon. The Lions will play four preseason games in total, with three of them dubbed closed door “scrimmages” and the other designated as a “friendly,” as the team gets to work preparing for the upcoming season.
Only one of the games is open to the public, and that match is exclusive to season ticket holders. The “open” match will take place on Valentines Day against the Colorado Rapids at Inter&Co Stadium, and it is the final tune-up on Orlando’s schedule. The other three scrimmages are all closed door affairs, and the latter two of those matches — on Feb. 7 and Feb. 11 — will be away against Nashville SC and FC Cincinnati, respectively. The home scrimmage will take place on Jan. 24 against Lexington Sporting Club.
Preseason training will begin next Monday, Jan. 12 and after the Lions play Lexington, they will depart to Mexico from Jan. 25-31 for a weeklong preseason training camp.
The Lions will face one team from USL League One, with the other three opponents all coming from Major League Soccer. Overall, things look a bit different than they did last year, with two fewer games in total, only one that is open to fans, and none that are open to the general public.
