As we count down to the new year of 2015-Orlando City SC's first in MLS-and say goodbye to 2014, it's time to look back at the club's 10 best moments of the year.

Yesterday we told you about Kevin Molino's single-season goal-scoring record, which we've listed as our No. 10 Orlando City SC moment of 2014. Today, we'll stick with the Trinidad & Tobago international. Molino was one of the USL Pro's best players during his time in the league, which is what convinced Adrian Heath that he'd be able to make the jump to MLS.

On Sept. 27, at the end of a stellar 2014 season, Molino was named the league's Most Valuable Player. It was kind of a no-brainer. The Lions star had set a new single-season league record with 20 goals, shattering the previous mark of 15. He also led the USL Pro in assists, establishing another new league record for points in a season, with 49 in just 27 games. It was Molino's second USL Pro MVP award.

The MVP award for Molino came just four days after he was one of three midfielders named to the USL Pro All-League first team. He joined teammate Luke Boden on the All-League first team, while Brad Rusin was named to the second team.

Boden played in 23 games in 2014, scoring two goals and adding five assists for nine points. He provided stability and positive play for Heath's back line and, like Molino, proved he was ready to make the jump to MLS with the Lions.

Fellow defender Rusin also made 23 appearances for Orlando City, chipping in a pair of goals. His presence helped the Lions Miguel Gallardo and Carl Woszcynski combine for 10 shutouts on the season, and both keepers finished with goals-against averages of less than one.

This recognition by USL Pro was a nice parting gift for Molino and Boden and a deserved honor for Rusin. It's also worthy, when combined with Molino's second MVP Award, as our No. 9 moment of 2014.
