Orlando City Friendly with Brazilian Série A Side Ponte Preta Unlikely to be Televised

An Orlando City spokesman has told The Mane Land that the May 2 friendly against Brazilian top flight side Ponte Preta is unlikely to be televised in the U.S., although it could be aired in Brazil. Further, the club is still unsure whether the game will be available via online stream.

What does it mean?

Well, at this point there's no guarantee to watch the match unless you buy a ticket to see it at the Orlando Citrus Bowl. That could change if the club ends up streaming the game online but at this point it's not a sure thing.

Our recommendation, as always, is come out and support the club in person if you're in the area. The match is part of the season ticket member package for 2015, so if you have Orlando City season tickets, you already have a ticket to the game. Otherwise, you can grab a ticket to the game at www.ticketmaster.com.

If you're outside the area, or unable to attend, The Mane Land Twitter account will live tweet the match and have a full recap.

São Paulo-based Ponte Preta finished second in Série B in 2014, earning promotion to the top Brazilian division, Série A, in 2015.
