Orlando City has officially reached its goal for season tickets in the 2015 inaugural MLS season.

The club announced today that it has reached 14,000 season ticket members and has established a waiting list for prospective season ticket holders for the 2016 season in the new downtown soccer stadium. Only four teams in MLS have a season ticket wait list.

The Lions rank among the top teams in MLS season ticket sales and capped the total number of season tickets at 14,000 to ease the transition into their new stadium next season.

"Today is an exciting day for our Club as we successfully completed our campaign to sell out our first year of season tickets," said Orlando City Founder and President Phil Rawlins on the club's website. "Our fans have responded overwhelmingly in support of our club and we are incredibly grateful for their support each and every week with the sea of purple in the stands and throughout the City Beautiful."
