Orlando City continues to leave things for late. Just a week after Pedro Ribeiro fired the Lions into a 2-2 draw with Columbus, Cyle Larin’s laser started a late spurt to push City past Chicago, 3-2, for the club’s first win over an Eastern Conference opponent. Austin David and Kevin Mercer join me to make sense of that crazy win for the boys in purple and we give you our picks for Man of the Match.

We also look ahead to Sunday’s third and final (regular season) meeting with D.C. United, a club that’s gotten the best of Orlando twice despite maybe not looking like the more likely side to win on either occasion. Can City finally turn their fortunes around against the defending conference regular season champs? It all comes down to finishing.

And we discuss Brek Shea’s recent time with the USMNT and whether DaMarcus Beasley can come back and supplant him as Jurgen Klinsmann’s left back of choice. In fact, we discuss the great week the U.S. has had at multiple levels of international competition.

Oh, and no PawedCast would be complete without our hilariously wrong predictions.
