Spanish Side Sevilla Set to Swoop In and Sign Orlando City Target Chicharito

With news this week that costs may prohibit Orlando City from making a deal for Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez, La Liga side Sevilla might be about to pounce on the Mexican international. ESPNFC.com writes that Chicharito is a confirmed target of the Spanish club.

Manchester United’s Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez and Borussia Dortmund’s Ciro Immobile are candidates to replace Carlos Bacca at Sevilla, coach Unai Emery has confirmed.

Sevilla recently sold Carlos Bacca to AC Milan and are definitely in the market for a striker. Chicharito’s broken collarbone will be long healed before the La Liga season.

Obviously it’s not a done deal, and MLS really wants Hernandez, but it’s looking less and less likely that the little pea is coming to Orlando.
