Orlando City vs. FC Dallas: How to Watch, TV Info, Live Stream, Lineups and More

Welcome to your Orlando City SC open thread, as the Lions are back home to take on the Western Conference’s FC Dallas at the Citrus Bowl at 7:30 p.m. ET. City (6-6-6, 24 points) will be without captain and talisman Kaká due to last week’s red card debacle at Real Salt Lake.

FC Dallas (8-5-5, 29 points) has won two straight MLS matches and is unbeaten in three. The artists formerly known as the Burn are without a few players due to international duty, but they will still field a formidable lineup that could end Orlando's seven-game home unbeaten streak in all competitions (5-0-2)

Orlando City will still be without Gold Cup competitors Cyle Larin (Canada) and Darwin Ceren (El Salvador) and will barely be able to field a full 18 due to injuries. Aurelien Collin should return to the Lions’ bench, coming back from a hamstring issue.

Unfortunately, Bryan Rochez, who finally returned from New Zealand this week after having visa issues will not be in the 18.

"He's too far away for that," Head Coach Adrian Heath said after Friday's training.

Lewis Neal said he had picked up a knock this week with a bit of an Achilles issue, but expects to play tonight. He could be the player asked to replace Kaká.

"Kaká is Kaká. None of us can try and copy what he does," Neal said. "You have to play it to the best of your ability and how you feel is right. If that was the case I would just try and go out and do what I can for the team, that's all."

Still, the club is still stretched wafer thin and it remains to be seen if the team will play its preferred formation and change personnel or if the Lions will change shape. Heath said Friday that he’d sleep on it before deciding the best way to proceed. Either way, it will be a tough battle against the likes of Fabian Castillo and Mauro Diaz.

"They're obviously very, very talented players," Neal said. "They're certainly guys that we've got to keep under wraps. We've got to look after the ball ourselves so we don't give them a chance to counter, because it's going to be our cheap turnovers that give them the chance to do that. Hopefully we're going to be good on the ball and keep possession."

As if there weren’t enough personnel issues for Orlando City, Cristian Higuita is one yellow card from suspension. If he can stay out of the referee’s book for three matches, he can have one of his four rescinded.
