Orlando Pride Sell 21,145th Ticket, Will Set New NWSL Attendance Record Tonight
The Orlando Pride have made history. Just a few hours ahead of tonight's home opener against the Houston Dash, the club has announced it has broken the NWSL attendance record by selling the 21,145th ticket to tonight's match.
The final attendance for tonight's match will be announced around the 70th minute mark of the game, but it should finish up well above the previous league record of 21,144 set by the Portland Thorns on July 22, 2015.
Fans are already tailgating in full force and crowding the outdoor merchandise stands for the historic match, which kicks off at 7:30 p.m. Our own Luis Hernandez is down there:

USWNT star midfielder Carli Lloyd leads the Dash into the Citrus Bowl to square off with the Pride, who will be looking for their first league win.
