Orlando City Captain Kaká Called Up to Brazil for Copa America Centenario
Orlando City captain Kaká has been called in to replace Douglas Costa on the Brazilian national team for the upcoming Copa America Centenario. Costa, who is apparently dealing with an injury to his left thigh, has been forced out of the lineup and manager Dunga has tabbed the Lions’ No. 10 as his man to fill in.

Of course, the bad news is that Copa America is almost upon us and international teams are already in camp preparing. So, Orlando City will be even more shorthanded on Sunday at New York City FC than we originally thought.
Kaká expected to join Brazil’s squad tomorrow (Friday), so he will miss Orlando City’s next game.

Kaká may get the chance to play for his country in the venue where he plays his club soccer, as the Seleção face Haiti at Camping World Stadium on Wednesday, June 8.
The Brazilian legend has two goals and five assists in seven games this season with Orlando City. He has 11 goals and 12 assists in 35 career MLS matches and was the 2015 MLS All-Star Game MVP.
The 34-year-old Kaká has 117 caps with Brazil since 2002, scoring 29 goals for his country.
It's a great honor for the Lion King, and we know he'll especially enjoy it if he's tabbed to play at Camping World Stadium on June 8 in front of his home fans.
