PawedCast Episode 62: Mikey Ambrose Interview, Review of Chicago, Colorado and Toronto, and NYCFC Preview

After a week off due to scheduling conflicts, the PawedCast is back and we’re not fooling around. We promised we’d make it up to you for the week off and in my opinion, we delivered. Not only do we give ample time to Orlando City’s three (!) most recent matches since we last spoke to you through the internet airwaves, but we also discuss the Orlando Pride and OCB, and preview the upcoming match with New York City FC.

But wait, there’s more!

As an added bonus to you, constant listener, we’ve got an exclusive interview with Orlando City left back Mikey Ambrose. One of the newest Lions talked about what it was like to make the jump to the senior team from OCB, the emotion of his MLS debut at Colorado, what Jason Kreis has brought to the team, and more. Big thanks to Mikey for taking time out of a double game week to be our guest.

And, we give you our key match-ups and score predictions for the battle of the 2015 MLS expansion teams during Rivalry Week. Andrew and I have definite thoughts on how Sunday will go down, provided Mother Nature allows the game to take place.

Here’s how it went down:

0:12- We've got three games to break down for you, starting with a 2-2 draw at Chicago Fire, then the 0-0 tie at Colorado Rapids, and, of course, this week's 2-1 loss to Toronto FC. Also, the Pride returns this week and OCB visits Richmond.

42:06- Mikey Ambrose jumps on and the newest Lions defender talks about his MLS debut, coming up with Tony Rocha, the players who have helped him and more.

52:18- Key match-ups and prediction time! What will happen Sunday vs. New York City FC? We’ll tell you, even if we don’t know yet.

And that’s a wrap. We’ll be back next week to break down OCSC-NYCFC and get ready for the Montreal Impact.
