USA vs. Thailand International Friendly: How to Watch, TV Info, Live Stream, Match Thread and More
Welcome to your live thread for tonight's friendly between the United States Women's National Team and Thailand. It’ll be the first meeting between the two nations in women’s soccer, and Thailand will be the 50th different national team the USWNT will face in its history. Orlando Pride stars Alex Morgan and Ashlyn Harris and 17 of their Olympic teammates will be on the roster for the match.
Two familiar faces will be missing from the lineup. Morgan Brian sustained a head injury recently while playing with the Houston Dash and is unavailable. In addition, Mallory Pugh is preparing for the U-20 Women’s NTC Invitational in Los Angeles with the rest of the U-20 national team.
This is potentially one of those games where the USWNT can play with its food. Thailand shouldn’t pose much of a problem in what could be an emotional match with veteran Heather O’Reilly playing in her final international match. “HAO’s” career spans 15 years, 230 games, 46 goals, three Olympic Gold medals and a World Cup championships since she kicked off her international career at age 17 in the 2002 Algarve Cup.
The United States women have not been beaten in 2016, sporting a record of 16-0-3. The penalty shootout loss in the Olympics, of course, counts officially as a draw. Tonight’s match should comfortably be the 17th win of the year barring an incredible upset. I, for one, don’t expect it.

Match Thread Rules
This is your live thread for posting comments on the match. So use our comments section below to talk about the game in real time with other supporters. If you're new, welcome to our happy home! While you're here, please observe a few basic rules:
- Absolutely no links to illegal streams. They can get us in trouble, and no one wants that.
- Try not to be "that guy" who spews nothing but venom and hate for the team. It's OK to be critical, and, let's face it, sometimes even the best teams can be frustrating to watch, but being overly negative relentlessly can sap the enjoyment for others.
- Keep it somewhat clean and fair when criticizing players / officials. You never know who might be reading.
- Do unto others in the match thread, the way you would have others do unto you. We are a fun community and want to keep it this way. We have a moderator, but we'd rather let him enjoy the game instead of having to play babysitter.
