Happy New Year, PawedCast listeners. It has only been a few weeks since we last visited with you but a lot has happened. Orlando City has signed some new players as well as some old. Full disclosure, we recorded before Friday’s signings, but we’ve still got lots of ground to cover.

Joining us to discuss what Orlando City has been up to this off-season is Head Coach Jason Kreis, who has traveled the world, watched a lot of soccer, and tells us what he learned about his new club in the second half of the 2016 MLS season. You’ll want to hear what the Lions’ boss had to say, and we’d like to thank him for taking time out of a hectic schedule to talk to us.

We also discuss Luke Boden’s move to the USL’s Tampa Bay Rowdies, Orlando Pride players headed to the USWNT’s January camp, whether David Beckham throwing in with the Rowdies to bring MLS to Tampa Bay makes sense, and much more.

Here’s the breakdown:

0:12- Dave and I discuss the Will Johnson and PC signings, finally being satisfied with the club’s fullback situation, Stewart Kerr’s defection to the Vancouver Whitecaps, Luke Boden’s move to Tampa Bay, and more.

21:44- Jason Kreis jumps aboard to discuss his off-season travels, Will Johnson, PC, Stewart Kerr, the club’s remaining off-season business, his analysis of the club in 2016 and other various topics.

32:14- Completing the Orlando City coaching hat trick, Orlando City and Orlando Pride draft discussion, whether or not the Lions have trade-able assets to move up in the draft, and our best Christmas gifts.

That’ll do it for January. We’ll be back in February and then in March it’ll be back to a weekly show. The off-season is ending!
