Orlando City’s 2017 Home Kit Leaked?

Well, Orlando City was planning to drop its 2017 home kit next Friday, but the internet decided to do it for them a week earlier, with todosobrecamisetas.com leaking the new threads early this morning.

Through having seen photos of the kits a few weeks ago, I’m able to confirm that this is the real deal, and what the Lions will be dressing up in more often than not for at least the next two seasons as they open up their brand new stadium next month.

Unlike last year’s new away kits, the collar on this year’s edition is 100 percent real, to go along with the gold stripes on the shoulder blades, the first time we’ve seen any gold outside of the crest on the club’s jersey.

Down in the left corner sits a little white Lion, the club’s mascot, of course, with a digital-ish looking pattern covering two-thirds of the jersey. The only mystery remaining is whether the numbers and letters on the back will be gold like the stripes or white like the sponsor logo and some of the shirt’s other elements.

Judging by the pictures leaked in the article linked above, the right sleeve of the jersey also appears to have some coordinates on them, which could very well be the coordinates of the club’s new home, as I mentioned above.

They’re super lightweight, I’m told, which should make for some comfortable wearing in those hot and humid summer games in Orlando.

I’m a fan of this kit, and will probably be caught shelling out some cash for one once they go on sale next week.

What are you thoughts about the kits? Do you like the real collar? Will you be breaking the bank to buy one? Let us know in the comments below!
