The Orlando Pride have traded defender Cami Levin to the Houston Dash in exchange for a 2018 third-round draft pick.

The Pride selected Levin sixth in the 2015 NWSL Expansion Draft from Sky Blue FC ahead of the 2016 season. The 26-year-old made 10 appearances last season (eight starts) and accumulated one assist, but the defender missed part of the season due to an emergency appendectomy.

“I would like to thank Cami for her commitment to the Pride and for being an integral part of our squad in our inaugural season,” Pride Head Coach Tom Sermanni said in a club press release. “I wish her every success with her move to Houston and look forward to her NWSL career continuing to flourish.”

The third-round draft pick the Pride acquired from Houston puts the club back into the 2018 NWSL College Draft after previously trading away all four selections in the upcoming draft. The first- and fourth-round selections were traded away on Jan. 18 to Portland Thorns FC to acquire forward Rachel Hill, the third-round selection was traded Jan. 23 to the Houston Dash for Chioma Ubogagu, and the second-round pick was traded to the Chicago Red Stars on Feb. 14 for an international roster spot, which was used to sign Marta.
