Orlando City did it again. It’s four wins out of four now at Orlando City Stadium after Cyle Larin’s last-gasp winner in stoppage time against the LA Galaxy on Saturday. The Lions played well against a good offensive team and nearly kept another clean sheet if not for the wizardry of Romain Alessandrini. We give you a breakdown of the game and our unanimous selection for Man of the Match. It’s not as detailed as the first one we did, but we experienced audio gremlins again this week, so we re-recorded and gave a more streamlined version. Alas.

The Orlando Pride opened their 2017 campaign at Portland and things didn’t go quite as well against the Thorns. The hosts took a 2-0 win in a match that saw both sides generate scoring chances but only one finished them off. Still, this was a performance Tom Sermanni could build on and we discuss that and look forward to the women opening the home schedule this weekend against the Washington Spirit.

And there’s OCB. The young Lions played twice on the road since we last talked to you and we’ve got thoughts on both games.

We also spoke to Sam Dunn, the managing editor over at Hudson River Blue about this weekend’s match-up between Orlando City and New York City FC. It was a lot of fun talking soccer with Sam and getting the NYCFC perspective on the “rivalry,” Cyle Larin, and Yankee Stadium.

All of that, plus we give you our key match-ups and predictions for Sunday’s game between Orlando City and New York City FC.

Here’s how the show went down:

0:13- Orlando City devours the dreams of the LA Galaxy faithful! Larin is the monster who will haunt their dreams, but Will Johnson may have been more deadly.

20:19- Damn, son. Sam Dunn jumps on the call and ‘conversates’ with us about the OCSC-NYCFC series to date and talks a bit about the Patrick Vieira way.

43:32- Our key match-ups and score predictions for the upcoming trip to Yankee Stadium.

Stop by next week as we recap the NYCRC match and look ahead to the Colorado Rapids.
