PawedCast Episode 91: Aubrey Bledsoe Interview, Recapping Miami, Montreal & Seattle, and Chicago Fire Preview

We’re a little late getting this week’s PawedCast out and that’s completely my fault. I went on a little family vacation to Las Vegas for a week. As fun as that sounds, my Vegas trips are a little different, because it’s a trip to my in-laws’ rather than a non-stop party in Sin City.

Anyway, I’m back and we have a lot to discuss, including Orlando City’s U.S. Open Cup loss, a dramatic draw against the Montreal Impact, an equally wild tie at Seattle, plus OCB, Alex Morgan, the Orlando Pride, and whatever else we could think of.

Joining us this week is Orlando Pride goalkeeper Aubrey Bledsoe, who talks about coming back from her broken leg and playing meaningful matches for her club this season. She speaks extensively (and highly) about injured captain Ashlyn Harris, and the support the Pride receive.

And we look ahead to Orlando City’s rematch with the Chicago Fire this weekend — hopefully with all 11 men this time around. We’ve got your key match-ups and score predictions that you should absolutely not use if you’re visiting a Vegas sports book.

Here’s how it all went down:

0:13- We’ve got a lot of games to talk about since our last episode of the PawedCast, including Miami FC, the Montreal Impact and the Seattle Sounders, plus our MotM picks for those games, OCB’s Canadian two-step, the Pride vs. the Dash, Alex Morgan, and more!

34:12- Aubrey Bledsoe stops by to talk about her season so far, the Pride’s resurgence of late, captain Ashlyn Harris’ contributions during her injury, and a lot more.

53:49- Orlando City will be playing its third game in eight days on Saturday night in Chicago. What can we expect when the Lions face the Fire?
