Four losses on the bounce make Michael and Dave unhappy. Orlando City continues to find creative back line combinations and the larger problem without Dom Dwyer continues to be scoring goals. Sure, the loss was 3-0 in the end but it didn’t play out like that lopsided score would indicate. We’re here to tell you why that is, and what Orlando did both well and not well, and which players are set to return.

The Pride didn’t score on the road either but they still came home with a point without a lot of key players. We dive into a hard-fought draw at Seattle and an impressive performance by Haley Kopmeyer.

Speaking of the Pride, we’re chatting with midfielder Emily van Egmond this week. The Australian international is settling in with Orlando — both the city and the team — and enjoying her NWSL experience. She doesn’t have a good Tom Sermanni story handy, though.

We also talk about the USMNT’s match at Ireland, the U.S. Open Cup fixture against Miami United FC, and the Lions’ trip to Vancouver to take on the Whitecaps, in addition to answering listener questions in our mailbag.
