It’s probably premature to say our long national nightmare is over but Orlando City did finally win a match, giving James O’Connor his first MLS win and snapping a nine-game skid. The Lions dropped Toronto FC, 2-1, and we’re here to talk about how it happened. It’s almost a strange feeling to be discussing a City win but we wouldn’t mind doing it again next week. We’re also talking about the Orlando Pride’s two matches since we last spoke and Jill Ellis’ decision to pull league players out of the NWSL ahead of the Tournament of Nations.

Patrick Murphy of Massive Report joins us to take a look at Orlando City at the Columbus Crew this Saturday, as well as Justin Meram’s 2018 struggles, the danger Dom Dwyer poses, and #SaveTheCrew.

Our final segment includes our weekly mailbag and our key match-ups and score predictions for Orlando City’s U.S. Open Cup match against the Philadelphia Union as well as Saturday at Columbus.

Here’s how show No. 134 went down:

0:12- A six-point weekend for the Lions and Pride was well received, while Jill Ellis calling in players ahead of a huge NWSL clash was…not.

34:51- Pat Murphy jumps aboard and we talk a little about Saturday’s match and a lot about other stuff, including an update on the #SaveTheCrew movement and perhaps Gregg Berhalter to the USMNT.

59:30- Our mailbag includes goal celebrations, referee questions, and more. Plus, our look ahead to both Philadelphia and Columbus.
