What’s up, Mane Landers? I’ll be bringing you your links this morning to get your week started on the right foot. It was a rough weekend for Pride fans with the postponement Saturday night just for the Pride to lose Sunday morning. But at least we didn’t have to see Orlando City lose this weekend as well, with the Lions on a break until they take on Atlanta United Friday at 8 p.m. ET. For now, a dreaded Monday awaits so hopefully these links can make your day a little more manageable.

Pride Fall in Crucial Game

The Pride lost a game that they desperately needed points from yesterday morning when they fell 3-0 to the North Carolina Courage. The Pride were able to hold on until the 75th minute when a Shelina Zadorsky own goal gave the Courage the lead and the Pride simply fell apart after, allowing two more goals in less than 15 minutes. Now the Pride only have two games left and are out of the playoff picture in fifth place in the National Women’s Soccer League standings, one point behind the Chicago Red Stars.

Meet Some Lions and Drink Some Sauce

If you haven’t heard already, Orlando City has partnered with Tijuana Flats to create a limited edition hot sauce and you can get your hands on a bottle for free while meeting some of your favorite Lions. Yoshimar Yotún and Chris Mueller will both be at a Tijuana Flats in Orlando Wednesday night for you to meet and you can check out the details on how to get your hands on a bottle of sauce in the tweet below.

Adam Grinwis Starts, Wins With Loaned Team

Although Orlando City was on a bye, a Lion still got some playing time this weekend with goalkeeper Adam Grinwis getting his first start with Real Monarchs as part of his two-game loan to the USL side. It wasn’t a very impressive outing with only one recorded save and two conceded goals in the team’s 3-2 victory over the Tulsa Roughnecks, but a win is a win. You can catch Grinwis play again this Saturday at 10 p.m. ET against the LA Galaxy II.

David Moyes Rumored for U.S. Men’s Coaching Gig

Former West Ham and Manchester United manager David Moyes has reportedly emerged as a leading candidate to be the next United States Men’s National Team coach. These reports come just a few months before the anniversary of Bruce Arena’s firing from the position last October. The reports are surprising to say the least, with Moyes not having any experience coaching in the western hemisphere and a resume filled with coaching at the club level.
