PawedCast Episode 176: San Jose Rewind, LAFC Preview, the USWNT, and More

Orlando City’s offense is in a coma and it had better wake up soon because the season is almost over. There’s still plenty of time for the Lions to make a run and jump a couple of teams to get above that playoff line but there’s little margin for error now. We break down the team’s shutout loss to San Jose and discuss yet another key injury at a bad time.

The Pride were off but there’s certainly news regarding several of the team’s players. We discuss that and the USWNT’s two Victory Tour wins over Portugal. There was no OCB match this weekend so there’s no OCB minute to suffer through.

We dip into our listener mail, and, of course, we gave our key match-ups and predictions for the Lions vs. LAFC this Saturday night.

Here’s how show No. 176 went down:

0:16 – The Lions were much poorer against San Jose than they were against Atlanta and that was reflected in the score line. Also, shutout losses are the worst losses.

31:40 – There may have been no Pride game this week but there was quite a bit of news from Orlando’s NWSL team. Plus, the USWNT sweeps Portugal.

58:43 – We answer our listeners’ questions and give our key match-ups and predictions for Saturday’s game vs. LAFC.
